The SMART project prioritizes the generation, management, and dissemination of knowledge among all project participants, including PMU staff, PO staff, and MEs. The aim is to maximize learning, capture achievements, and document lessons learned through various forms such as analytical studies, communications, radio interviews, and instructional videos. This approach ensures that the insights and experiences gathered during the project are accessible to all stakeholders and can inform future initiatives.

PKSF will support knowledge-sharing events and training programs, specifically designed to address the demands arising during project implementation. Additionally, cluster-specific and product-specific studies will be conducted to assist POs in effectively carrying out project activities. The project’s knowledge management efforts will enhance the institutional capacity of POs and MEs, promoting the uptake of climate-resilient practices across Bangladesh.

A critical aspect of this initiative is fostering communities of practice at the regional level. These communities will consist of private sector representatives, young entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, and other experts, facilitating local knowledge exchange on climate-resilient practices. PKSF will periodically steer and update these knowledge exchanges, ensuring that all participants have access to up-to-date and relevant information.

Overall, the knowledge management component of the SMART project is designed to foster an environment of continuous learning and adaptation, essential for the sustainable growth and resilience of microenterprises across Bangladesh.
